Just curious, but has anyone else actually seen what our headliners look like without the stock fabric and foam? I pulled the fabric from mine and cleaned off the foam to recover it, and after doing so there wasn't much left to work with. All that was left was a paper thin sheet that didn't hold much shape. I honestly didn't see how it would be possible to recover it. Now I'm looking for another stock headliner to recover with the stock fabric and foam still intact.

thats why on our cars i leave the material on. there are so thin to begin with that you lose some of the structure strength trying to pull the old stuff off.

Mine didn't just lose some of the structure. It was basically like a sheet of paper after being stripped.
they are pretty weak to start off with, but yeah it's pretty much like paper
