Mine smells like actual new car smell.
my car smells fairly good for being a 97. i do have an air freshener but that is for when i smoke in it but the substance i smoke the smell dissipates within a few hours anyway unlike cig smoke
Mine smells like tire rubber from leaving my drag slicks in the back of the car all the time.
Kinda gross after a while, ussually try and cover it with black ice...lol
passenger seat smells like hair spray from my old gf that overused that stuff, the rest of the car smells like strawberries

Acually, it used to have that classic '50s car smell we all know, that I have concluded is mostly tobacco residue. My '86 (last owner was a smoker) had that smell untl I shampood all the seat and fake mouse fur (CL cloth interior) surfaces...got better, then I hit all the plastic with warm water, Spray Nine, a sponge, and rinse w/ clean water.
Now it smells like nothing, unless I fire it up. Then it smells like gas b/c it's running rich. I kinda liked it until I failed for hydrocarbons at fast idle this month at inspection.

Mine smells like cigarettes, ganja and dryer sheets... Believe it or not dryer sheets work really well if the smell in there isn't bad, but if it is go to wonderwafers.com I used to use them in detailing and they're POTENT leave one in the car overnight with a window cracked (preferably inside) and you'll be good for a month, but they HAVE TO go under the seat because they will stain anything they touch, I used to put them on little containers or the cover from a jar or something

When I first bought my car I didn't try the ac until I left with it, hit it on full blast and got a huge whiff of marijuana, I hardly used the blower after that.

Thickburgers and gasoline... unless the air is on the its gasoline, ganja, and oranges. The air is usually on, which gives me the munchies... which in turn leads to car smelling like thickburgers. Cause and effect. gotta love it
