i got a pair of tenzo rally seats and when i went to swap the stock mounting brackets and sliders on the seats they did not line up. do i need to buy a pair of brackets or what? i dont really wan to have to drill holes on the tenzos to mount the stock brackets so what is best?

I've always been curious about this. Why not grind off the seat bolts and fire some new bolts up in from under the car? Is there some sort of structural consideration, or is it just 'too much work' for most people?
pretty sure the fuel and brake lines run under the driver seat..dont know about passenger
