If there is any interest in these I could start making them for others.
I just gotta get my hands on some more airbag connects and I'll be ready to roll.
So if your interested either shoot me a PM or post up here.

well i guess no one every tested this
and i see everyone on here is all talk
and your all smarter then everyone else
but everyone refuses to answer questions
but will flame the hell out of each other
have fun little boys
oh on a side note i do have the balls to test this to see if its going to work
and i may share
Wow got your panties in a bunch much?
They work and have been tested by many.
Many people including myself have used them for years. Tho Johns car for some reason didn't take to the same resistor value as other cars I have made them for. His is actually the first and only one that hasn't worked. Not sure why since other 01's have used the same value without a hitch, and not living near him makes more R&D with his car impossible at the moment.
Thank you for talking out of your ass tho it is always appreciated.

I would get one once u have them ready. Let me know.

Jeffie made me a set but they did not work. I still have them and was going to test them on a different car, but did not get the chance. I have bought many resistors trying to make my own but can not find one that works. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or what. Probably.
Thanks Jeffie!

Yea Im not sure what it is about your car but this mod just doesn't seem to want to take.
I've used a few local guys to test the exact same setup on and for them it works
As you go thru resistors let me know what ends up working for you.
Too bad we don't live closer we could both be working on your car with it.

Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.
Air Bag sim
I just bought a airbag sim from this place, and it worked for me. First thing I could get to work.

This post was a nice find.... i never knew you could do something like this to keep the passenger airbag
On a 2004 Cavalier, is anyone aware if the airbag is one connector or two?
I contacted airbagsystems.com regarding an air bag simulator and they said they can custom make one but asked if the airbag connector on my car is a (2) plug connector or a single plug.
Thanks in advance.
Right place, wrong time, right person, wrong situation

Shouldn't matter. They never asked me what kind I had, but I got will work on either kind. I will scan and load copies of the instructions so you can see later.

Having issues with my scanner, but basicly it is just clips onto the wires.

Well if you could get the pics up that will be great.
I wrecked my car the other day and both air bags deployed. So I'm just going to take them out. I really don't understand where these simulators go though. Should I take the thing out that is underneath the passenger seat also?

I would be interested in buying a set of these for both airbags for my 05 cav.
Interested too...96 sunfire....

Then go to the link post above and buy them.

Think I might go hit radio shack and try to find a 2.2ohm resistor before I pay $29 each.
Do you have any pictures of their kit john?

That's fine too

i made mine and it worked when i had both driver and passenger pluged in
but it didnt work with just the driver pluged in
just to clarify....2.2ohm...not 2.2 k-ohm? I hot up Radio Shack a bit ago and they had no 2.2 ohm...just k-ohm.
also. I was at the yard this morning trying to pull a set of plugs to make my own. I noticed the the driver side airbag connector was different than the one I pulled out of my car. Has anyone else noticed this? Mine is a '00 and the connector actually plugs right into the base of the air bag module. There is no "Harness" to speak of.
