Hi all,

I recently took off my gauges on my '98 GT to paint them. Here is the result:



(The image looks kinda shoddy due to compression but looks quite nice in person.)

Basically all I did was paint the aluminum insert I bought off of ebay and the surrounding plastic part with Krylon Fusion paint. I also painted the plastic piece that attaches to the dash. I will post installed pics soon, but what do you guys think of it?

I'm pretty happy with the results!

I like it...just in the picture it looks a little to 'glossy'...i tihnk a semigloss finish would have been better

yah you should get a custom guage face now from blackcatcustoms
it would look amazing if you got a different colour the black red contrast isnt my style

It actually isn't quite as glossy as it looks in the photo. Remember that the clear plastic cover is on the gauges in that picture. It looks a lot more like a semi gloss now that it is installed. I'll post some pics of it installed in the next day or so.

As for the black/red contrast, well it's kinda the theme of my whole car so it fits in well with it. More than likely I won't be getting a custom face just because I can't substantiate the cost.
