Garden, i dont know for the insert, everything is ok!!
for the paint i used SEM paint on the air bag and on the upper door panel.
but i used fusion for everything else and on the dash also, and the dash is a fly trap!!!
I will be redoing everything soon in fiberglass if i can learn it LOL!
or i'll try that flex agent in automotive paint.

Heres some of mine but im redoing it right now....the top dash pad is fiberglasses as you can see below, the rest of the interior is getting sanded down to get rid of the textured look and to look like glass and im adding some diamond plate mats as well.

Mine is somewhat smooth i used 220, then primered it 3 coats or primer let it dry for about a day sanded it with 400 to smooth it out a bit then used krylon fusion sprayed 1 coat let it dry sprayed a 2nd coat fixed any runs and then like 3 coats of clear coat on it.

time wise 1 - 1 1/2 month`s its not going to be something your going to do overnight take your time if you want it to look good

You mean to get the center console off? if so what i did after i took off the shift knob i madea very small cut in the leather that goes around the ebrake and slid it over top of the handel and after you take the center console out you will notice that the center console is really 2 parts screwed together.

anyways if you have any problems send me a im my aim name is viper8854
