I have the "cheap" ebay version. All I have to say is that I really don't notice any difference between now and when I cut my stock shifter! Maybe I installed it wrong? Maybe it has something to do with the cables i don't know I thought I marked them right. Its shifting awfully hard. Oh well if no one has a solution for this problem then I guess its safe to say that B&M is the way to go
