i did a search for thius and didnt get the answers i was looking for. i want to paint my dash, doors, glove box, fuse box and side pillars. question is do i just paint over these parts, primer then paint then clear or what. thanks guys. what type of paint, and were can i get it. thanks a bunch

well you could have found this info somewhere else but since im in a good mood

you have to clean the parts first- take them out and wash them and then put rubbing alcohol on them - then rinse that off- make sure you kind of rub in the alcohol-

then start the sanding- lots of it- start with a rougher grit and go down- this is personal prefrence- you can primer when its smooth, then sand again- the primer- then paint

most paints work on primer- i used krylon fusion- or you can use krylon paints with primer-

Hey dude I am a newb to this site, but I have experience painting my dash in my 2000 alero
check out aleromod.com in the how-to forum and they give a great d-i-y bulliten
