how many people actually have the airbag simulator listed here http://www.airbagsystems.com/disconnect.htm

Just curious. I did a search and not much came up. Any problems with this product?

Never seen this yet, but maybe someone will try, it would be nice, since if you're installing an aftermarket steering wheel, the passenger one would still work. I dropped the idea of the wheel just because I don't want to lose the passenger side airbag

I'm not installing a steering wheel... but now that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I'm installing an Atari where the passenger airbag is.

To bring an old post back from the dead.

I ordered one of these in April.

I was billed for it, and somehow they lost my information, and never sent out my order or something.

Anyhow, if you do order from them be prepared, apparently customer service is a thing of the past!!! They don't return phone calls, and that's if you can get someone to answer a phone!

It took me 3 weeks to get mine. I emailed several times and they never replied. I called and they didn't call back but a few days later I got it. It's not a simulator, it's two quick splices that have a resistor in betweekn them.

Any idea of the resistor value? I'll make my own so that i don't have to deal with them anymore. I know I can put black tape over the bulb, And I could probably pull the bulb, but no offence, I don't like to mickey mouse stuff, and that way the computer doesn't see a fault.

Yeah, is there any way to get those values for the resistors? I would much rather trick the computer than ignore it.

STREET ANTIX, it's coming...

The resistor has four lines. Red Red Gold Gold. Hope that helps

The last two are the same color, definitely not brown or orange.

Well, I retract my initial statement. I got my simulator today. clipped it on. turned the iginition on, light flashed on 7 times, then turned off.... Best 37 bucks i've spent in a long time.

Awesome! I haven't installed mine yet, been lazy and haven't been able to afford the screen that I need installed either.

I'll make one, but I won't use it. I don't care about the airbag light being on lol. well, I'll make one if I have the resistor on hand anyway I'll check when I get home.

If you can make them and they work I'll take 2 for 15-20 bucks a piece. I want these things gone so bad.

Please help me.

take a pic of the resistor, I need to know the size of it. not all 2.2 Ohm resistors are created equal.

well, I tried it. Had to use 2 since I don't have a passenger side air bag. The light flashed a bunch and went off. Who wants to be the test monkey to see if they make the passenger side air bag blow when you use it just on the drivers side?
