i made some projectors for my sunfre and molded the plexi glass the plexi glass holds up very well to rocks and other things but as you said i had a inch gap inbetween headlight and bumper so i took them out thats why i have not said anything about mine because it bumbed me out and that was a good 6 months ago just have not had time to fool with it
hey could you take close-up pics of them. did u make the plexiglass the same shape as the old cover or is it just flat on the light
the plexiglass is same shape as the stock lens.. and to a point it looks like the stock lens but clear.. the gap isnt bad on one side but on the other side its little less then inch. i have some closeups on my camera which i dont have with me now. .i will post some up later

hey just wondering what did u use to heat the plexiglass up to bend it. also how did u make the compound bends on the corners. does the plexiglass bend that easy when its heated up?
thanks
BUMP! on this topic. I would like some instructions as well. What thickness of plexi did you use and so forth. How big of a sheet you neede for each side etc etc. I have a heat gun that gets pretty damm hot. I'm sure that would soften up the plexi enough to bend it.
Also another question I have is since you probably bent the plexi over the stock housing. Did you have any problems attaching it to the housing? since it may have been a smidge larger then the stock lense? What did you use to glue it to the housing? urethane? did you still use the little clips on the stock lights?
Regards,
Oh and by the way whiteboy Love the sunfire Drift front bumper. Absolutely love it. I love that version of it not the other one.
Custom work.........love it total respect for the craftsmanship!!!

imma try to get some close ups on mine i put my plexi glass in the oven because its hard to heat the whole thing at once to shape it with a heat gun but if you put it in the over bout 3 minutes at 250 i think it was it will shape nicely let me see if i can get a digital camera and ill take some pics
thanks for the complements.
plexiglass is a pain in the ass to bend.. once its pretty hot (less then 10 min @300 degrees) in the oven you can mold it pretty easy but you gotta hold it down or else it will keep going to the original "flat" shape..

yes the white is paint i was going with a white and blue scheme but now im going with a black and blue so ill change them there is a plexi glass lense on there and no its not fog lights its a projector off of a accord i had to do some modifoing to the projector to make it fit withe the lense over it but i got it to fit and i used silicone to seal it for temp so itwill be easy to come off cause i have to do another lense
