I have the same sliding issues. they scrape on the bolts.

the best way is to use the stock sliders. I will end up doing that Im sure.

looks hot, whats the best way to go about installing racing seats with sliders? is it better to go to a shop or do it youself? wheres a good shop(GTA)?

Well, there is no best way really. Either way, a metal plate has to be cut out, to relocate the holes, since the sliders (either ones, stock or universal) do not line up with both the new seat and the bolts in the car.

So you have 2 options:

Fabricate the plate, to mount the universal sliders to the car,

or

Fabricate the plate, to mount the new seats, to the stock sliders.

Problems with the stock sliders, is that the new seats, most likely are taller then the stock seats, so you sit higher, and the backrest is very close to the headliner...

With the universal sliders, they sit lower, and overall fit nicer. but you dont have the sliding range front to back like the stock sliders.
