Having a different taste is completely fine. I have a different taste than most ppl on here. When I don't like something, I tell them about it... or I keep my opinion to myself. I am never mean or rude about it because there is no point in it. You, are a complete a$s to ppl most of the time. I have read some posts you have made and there is NO point in being so damn mean about it. Other ppl put their opinions out there, but they are nice about it. Instead of sayin things I do Like: can't think of anything, you could have just left that out. There are tons of ways to state what u do and don't like without being a complete jerk about it.
& yes other ppl did point out the same things u did, but they were nicer about it.

the scoop is a different color yellow and it dosent look good because its not blinded in...
that spoiler HAS GOT TO GO......
the exhaust is hanging too low too far from the body.....
and the black wheels....with yelow..? ive heard of unique but come on...!

Look, you posted because you want opinions. If you didn't want to hear what people had to say you shouldn't have posted. If you didn't want to hear negative comments, again you shouldn't have posted. If you'd stop arguing with people these threads wouldn't become a "flame war."
Secondly, I've seen 3 or 4 of these threads with your car. I'm glad you like it but I couldn't tell the difference between one thread and the next, it's just a different set of pictures, nothing's new. We get it, you like your car, thanks.
That out of the way, I have to say I like the color, but I don't like the hood or the spoiler. I don't think either follow any of the Cavalier's lines. Beyond that, whether the hood scoop cost you 1$ or 1000$ it looks like a cheap stick on scoop. Personally, I wouldn't have wasted my money, but then it wasn't my money and it wasn't my decision. The only thing I can't get over about the rims are the little bolts or rivets or screws or whatever that arn't black, they seem to disturb the otherwise good looking rims.
In the end though whether or not I like your car is really irrelevant. You probably won't like my opinion and will call me out as a "hater," and that's fine with me. I think your conduct on this board is deplorable. Have a good day, and enjoy modifying you car.
To each his own on the scoop so I'll refrain from commenting on that. Other than painting the bar behind the mesh flat black to hide it better and a few very minor things, I say that it looks pretty good.

Man BlitzedJ, everytime you post, people rip on your ride, its rediculous. It's a great looking car with a lot of time, work, and money into it. It's unique, and it's awesome, imo. I think there is a LOT of groupthink going on in the JBO.. It seems like uniqueness tends to get flamed here (at least until enough people copy the uniqueness, until it is nolonger unique.. then it becomes acceptable), but the way I see it, car modding is an art. Art, as well as beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. People don't have to like someone elses work of art, but I feel they should respect it. Alot of work, time, and money goes into modding a car, as does a lot of pride.
I believe in the old addage "if you dont have anything nice to say, sometimes its best not to say anything." Its one thing to offer creative criticism, but its another thing to hate someone's car based solely on opinion or groupthink. If a car or an aspect of a car is not your personal tastes, and you don't like it based solely on your opinion, then don't mod your car like that. It's as simple as that. There really isn't any positive or constructive purpose in in telling the owner that you think their car is ugly, or that you think they are stupid for modding it in a way that you wouldn't have. You need to support your opinion with a solution.
For example, many people hate the spoiler. So you hate the spoiler, what spoiler would flow better? What exactly don't you like about the spoiler? Does it not flow with the kit at all? Does it detract from the overall aesthetics of the car? It's alright not to like something, such as a spoiler, but unless you have some kind of insightful (preferably helpful) reason for not liking the spoiler, maybe it would be best to save a post, and hate it in private? What exactly would you hope to accomplish by posting your negative PERSONAL opinion? grief for the owner? why?
I'm not saying to hold back constructive criticism either. I'm all about people helping people.. I'm just against opinionated attacks.. they serve no purpose but to cause grief.. If you don't want to be a blatant @!#$, then make sure that your criticism is infact constructive, and not based solely on your opinion. Like I said, back up your dislike for the car or an aspect of the car with logical, viable reasons... It will create less friction, and be far less discouraging to the people you are trying to criticize.

Take Cherub's post. He posted reasons why he didn't like aspects of the car.. though kind of bluntly, lol. He didn't just say "the hood and spoiler look bad." he explained why he thought they looked bad.. is it that hard for other people to do that?

I have the solution!! Paint ONLY the mirrors, not the triangle shaped panel.
Anyway painted those yellow, and THEN, take your front bumper off 1 more time, and paint the Steel bumper FLAT BLACK, that way no one can see it, and your grill mesh will show up better. Then after your headlights are back in, adjust the settings on them to make them fit better with the whole front, it can't line up perfect, but getting it close as can be all the way around makes a difference.
Looks ALOT nicer with shiney tires. BTW the A$$HOLES on here won't show up to the bash, they be at home working on their MASTERPIECE. Yeah right.

Then after that they said well clean up the car then post pics so thats what i did today and here are the pics.

Alright, well I think you've answered my concerns as far as the non-car related part of this post goes. Maybe I jumped the gun a little bit, my apologies.
Like I said before, it's not my style, but I have to say it's a whole lot better than alot of other cars I see on the road. I hope you enjoy your project.
