I never tried for ANY sponsors, I dont believe in taking FREE products thats the easy way out working hard for everything gives you more value and pride

i guess some of you have no clue what being sponsored is about. most people who get sponsors and keep them because they WORK for the sponsor. being sponsored isnt just getting a free part in the mail.
and quickBOOSTEDecotec. if youve never tried for sponsors, u may want to go into your own profile and remove the line where it states your "looking for new sponsors"

I may not know much about cars, but I know two things....
1) Breaking things is expensive, and
2) Horsepower isn't cheap.
its the people that have never tried to get sponsored that think its all fun and games... hypsy how many sponsors turned you down before you got the ones that accepted you? He worked for his sponsors and he still is by using their parts and promoting them. It seems to me that the lazy ones are the ones who are too lazy to try and get sponsored so they bitch about how hard they work for their parts... whatever people, its all part of the game we call life.

I agree as well, the only thing on my car I didn't pay for was the wheels cause they were a gift, everythign else I worked for. I turned down a sponcership cause I told them under no crcumstances will I have any type of logo/sticker/decal on my car, so not everyone would take free parts

hey guys. well i finished a very long day 8.30-3 working on the car then 4-10 working the front register at walgreens. man my knees hurt.
to answer the question about how many companies rejected me....lets just say i sent out 27 letters in december...and you see who I picked up. Getting sponsored isnt the easy way out. have any of you that say that actually tried writing an application letter or read the requirements of a sponsoree? doubt it. lots of demands and restrictions that most people would never agree to. but im not most people
on to the update...
today we got the oil pan tapped and re-installed; got the exhaust cut off except the manifold; and i got the fuel pump plumbed. tomorrow im gonna wire in the fuel pump, install the turbo and manifold, run the fuel lines and change the injectors. and hopefully have time to run the charge pipes. basically i want everything but the exhaust done tomorrow on the kit. then i can spend sunday morning installing the NX kit and gauges...if i dont get that done tomorrow. which i doubt i will.
looking for about 180-200HP for now and 12 second passes by bash time.
