ok, time for a trip to my trusty sears. i need a gigantic pipe cutter and a dremel tool with a piss load of cut off wheels. the front drivers perch was NO fun to take off with a hacksaw.....



and to you mr strut, i say F you!

hey hey hey now lol

question for those of you with koni yellows, for the front strut is the koni supposed to touch the bottom of the strut housing??? i remember reading 40mm with is almost 1.5" so i lined up 1.5" and edged towards the other side of the line...

let me know guys

more pics when i get the front setup goin.... gonna take off the other side now while i wait for an answer to my question

you need to drill a hole in the center of the bottom of the stock front strut housings... there is an allen bolt that goes up through and screws into the bottom of the koni... so if i'm reading your question right, the koni should sit down into the stock housing far enough to touch.

ok so i'm trying to get information out qwik2k2z24 and yeah... he's drunk lol

here's my problem...



that's how i have the one installed side setup right now

my problem is, i don't think it's right. the cup washer that i broke apart per instructions of big jerm just kinda sits at the top of the strut tower. the rubber mount just flops around til it actually gets bolted in and it just doesn't seem like it's going to be right....

that and i am having one hell of a time getting the top bolt tightened...

cause they dont have any for the 03-05 setup yet... so he has to use them from 95-99.
