i'm taking apart the other front right now but i need to know about how the koni sits in the stock housing...
ps, no beer lol
Come on man , you got us all waiting man , just slap them on
Alex Juarez wrote:Come on man , you got us all waiting man , just slap them on
i'm the one waiting.... i NEED to know how the koni sits in the stock housing!
or else you guys will have to see the crazy finale tomorrow
you need to drill a hole in the center of the bottom of the stock front strut housings... there is an allen bolt that goes up through and screws into the bottom of the koni... so if i'm reading your question right, the koni should sit down into the stock housing far enough to touch.
OH OH OH!!!
phil told me what's up....
THANKS AGAIN PHIL!
good lord, this is a lot of suspense for just lowering an eco
good luck on it
konis an gc's rule... by far the best setup ive owned..
ok so i'm trying to get information out qwik2k2z24 and yeah... he's drunk lol
here's my problem...
that's how i have the one installed side setup right now
my problem is, i don't think it's right. the cup washer that i broke apart per instructions of big jerm just kinda sits at the top of the strut tower. the rubber mount just flops around til it actually gets bolted in and it just doesn't seem like it's going to be right....
that and i am having one hell of a time getting the top bolt tightened...
why do you need 95-99 parts ???

cause they dont have any for the 03-05 setup yet... so he has to use them from 95-99.
GOT ECOTEC?
