Any pics of the brakes after they have been spun and stopped a few times and what not? Just want to see what they look like on the surface of where the pads grip on the rotor. I will be putting mine on soon and they have silver rotors but when the time comes, not sure if ill go with the silver I have now or go with the black ones. Leaning toward silver just to separate it from the wheel. Yours looks good though for sure and I love the CF work put into the car.

Vince, they all come like that new from what I understand. Chris Gill's were the same when he got his, the paint wore off on the very first brake application.

Ok, so, where to start?
First of all, I feel really bad for Bill and his brother. They bought what they were told was a complete M45 kit. First thing I found out before I even went out there was that there was NO hardware that came with the kit. So no big deal I thought, I went to Brafasco prior to heading out on Nov 5th figuring that would be the only issue. When I got there, I noticed that something VERY important was missing... The slim air/oil seperator that comes with the kit. This presented a HUGE issue since we couldnt even bolt up the supercharger with the stock unit on there.
So on Nov 5, I did the complete teardown and installed the header while we thought of what we could do to rectify this issue. And that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Parts that were missing from this "complete kit"
-ALL hardware
-ALL specialty hoses that come with the kit
-The metal tube that goes from the brake booster to the throttle body
-Drivers side upper mounting bracket
-Evap purge valve relocation bracket
-Cruise control module relocation bracket
-M45 cruise control cable
He was also told that the injectors that came with the kit were low impedence injectors that would work with his 98. Wrong again, they were LSJ's.
What we have both learned from this experience, dont deal with AZN_CAV and Mathew Jollymore. And yes, Im calling both of you out on this one. Bill deserves a HUGE apology and some compensation for everything that was missing.
Anyways, Bill was able to get an air/oil seperator from OEM and I headed out today to finish what we started over a month ago.
I had to improvise with alot of parts and figure ways to make this kit properly functional.
Here are the pics and a video of the first start up, open header
I know Bill has a few pics of the teardown, if he wants, he can post those too.

And a video of the first start up.

We would have gotten more pics, but it was bloody cold and we just wanted to get this done.

Love all the carbon fiber on the console and dash. Great you were able to get the part from OEM overnighted

I am not excusing them not telling you what parts are missing, but some of them are not needed to install. I was missing some of the same parts on my install

-ALL hardware - same as you...went to the hardware store
-ALL specialty hoses that come with the kit I bought some hoses from AutoZone, just cut to length
-The metal tube that goes from the brake booster to the throttle body Not necessary, you can cut the stock one and run a hose to it
-Cruise control module relocation bracket not needed, but nice to have.
-M45 cruise control cable stock cable worked fine for me

My thoughts as well. Beyond this the seller may have advertised as a complete kit, but when I sold my kit I bagged everything and labeled it per the list in the GM installation instructions. Trust does @!#$ you.

Glad it's on though!
