3400sfi swap in progress
thanks Mr.Quick for the engine mount
I appreciate very much your comment
Nice, I have that wheel disconnect too, its nice and quick. How come in primer?
This is great news. I missed reading about this car.
x2^
Love where this is going, I've ridden in Kardain's 3400 swapped sunfire a few times, its a f-ing beast. You will love the new heart!
Awesome news man. I was just wondering about this car the other day.
The good news is that if you use a 2000-2001 impala wiring hanress and computer, all your gauges will work properly.
I would be getting the urethane insert for that upper mount aswell as all the other mounts.

you must change both
or juste the engine computer
that which is placed in the fender
Stock interior wiring harness and cluster.
2000-2001 Impala engine harness (plugs right into your plug at the firewall so it's plug and play!)
2000-2001 impala PCM (yes the one in the fender well)
I believe you need to deal with the park/neutral switch wire on the harness so that the computer doesn't think the auto transmission is missing...
Have somebody erase VATS on the PCM and the engine will turn right over and run. Voila - plug 'n play 3400.

Slowly but surely may some day win this race...
Well what he is saying is that you will need to splice the Impala enine harness to the Sunfire Engine harness. Keep the Sunfire engine fuse block but use the Impala engine harness and computer.
ok if I need help I ask here
thank you
I have some question for me swap
What flywheel should I use
What would be the best clutch
for the trans I know it is 2.2ohv 2000 to 2002
2.4 not fit
thank you in advance for the info
NIce! Franky's back! Whooot! I love the new heart buddy!
Use the 2200 clutch and flywheel.
I would DEFINITELY recomend a Bully clutch. Probably stage 2 or 3 would be good for you.
wow man, good work, keep it up!
been a long journey but I have to say I still like where this project is going. I really like the center console mod for the hvac panel.
man the car looks amazing i love what you did with the center console where are in qc are you near Ottawa?
Looking good man. The cleaned up mount looks great, too. I don't know if you've mentioned it in any other threads, but do you have the paint scheme picked out yet?
thank you.
I did not choose the peint for my car ...
