Thanks, man.

I agree with the spacers. I have 2 old front wheel bearings/ hub assemblies laying on the shop floor after replacing them both (guy who repllaced tranny for the PO didn't re-install the rear seal or o-rings!). That'll give me the studs I need to fab up some spacers.

Maybe a 95-02 Sunfire sedan tail lights?
They would fill in all those holes in the trunk AND tire in the sunfire front end a bit more...

Love that color, it all looks like its got potential.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think a little body work isn't too far out of my reach... just a matter of finding the time.

And a note of the color, my GF calls it an old people car because it's "gold."

Nice and clean cavfire. I was originally gonna put on an older trunk to clean the back, but ended up having a cousin of mine work on my original and achieved the same result.

I believe they're the same, just the center bar holes are on the 03-05, but don't quote that.

Thanks, I took a look at yours, and now I'm itching to clean up my trunk holes.

95-05 Cavalier trunk lids are interchangeable.
95-05 Sunfire trunk lids are interchangeable.
95-05 Cavalier and Sunfire SEDAN trunk lids are interchangeable.
Sunfire and Cavalier COUPE trunk lids are NOT interchangeable.

Hope that clears it up.

I say do the 03-05 Sunfire sedan taillights. Mainly because nobody does that. Oh, and getting the door filler panels for the outside would REALLY fill everything out. It's a good start though.

I checked out some Sunfire tails at pull-a-part today and I don't think they're quite my style. Maybe I'll change my mind on 'em in time.

Today, I put in some Grand AM fog lights with yellow bulbs (replaced the really crappy aftermarket glass ones I had when I bought the car), a Grand Prix horn since mine was broken, and re-adjusted my clutch pedal stop for my new clutch. JBP cams are on the do-do list as soon as I get them on order.

do NOT order from jbp. You will never recieve your parts. Dont believe me? Do a search on here.

I got an RK Sport upper engine mount installed today! Now to get the lower one or make one to match.

I got my parts from JBP in two weeks. Granted that was about 3 years ago.

Well the reason I got the car was because it was hard to sell due to the 'fire front end. 3K for a car with 70K miles on it seemed okay with me and I like the fact that it's all mixed up, especially so now.

Here's some progress pictures:

-installed RK Sport upper mount (will be painted to match valve cover)
-relocated ECU temporarily (until I get the time to make it permanent) It may go where the battery sits when it gets sent to the spare tire well.
-modified AEM intake to a short ram with a custom aluminum tube I spun out (had issues with CAI wanting to take in water for some reason)
-turned out an aluminum adapter for the AEM intake to valve cover hose

If anyone wants/ needs the aluminum AEM CAI tube I have leftover, let me know.

Still having picture issues. Here's the actual ones:

Looks like I need to get to cleaning up the engine bay!

I relocated my ecu to in the car under the hvac controls, behind the pastic panels on the floor.
Hardest part to do is cut the firewall or rubber a bit to get the plugs through, everything else is easy, pull plastic panels, route ecu harness wires, put ecu in place, attach connectors, put panels back together.
Just one more relocate option for ya.

Thanks for the option! I think I'm going to mount it back there somewhere.
