Crazy! Love it! If you need a base tune for the turbo 3400, I have a pretty decent flash we street tuned in my dad's Fiero.

Would love to wake up and find that W41 in my driveway, lol.

Ive already got the tuning squared away, I went OBD2 since no one could supply a boosted OBD1 file and tune it. Which really SUCKS because i hate that i have to use OBD2 and dick communications aspect of it. having to wire a bcm just to make the air conditioner to work is sillyness!

Milzy motorsports is handling the tuning for me, i already have the initial performance NA tune for it with the PCM modified to not have all the emissions garbage, auto trans, abs etc.

It is more or less stock, i do have a cold air intake and air filter, exhaust, muffler. I have never been a fan of turbo'ing my car personaly. Ive had too many friends turbo their cars and it just always seemed as if they were fixing them more than they were driving them. One day I might bite the bullet. Im really just cleaning up the engine bay a lot, and doing something custom that i dont think has been done to a j-body. I dont want to post pictures yet because its in the rough stage and cant really get any good pictures to show it justice. Ill wait to post once i get further with this.

got out and did a little bit of work today, still need to borrow the chop saw to get the piping finished. Also bee to have the machine shop rip cut my impact asborber so i can get the intercooler mounted.

got the oil drain made and installed. Still have to heat shrink the top fitting though. Makes it look better with the sleeving.

also happy my FPR delete fitting works on the 3400 rail and fixes my clearance issues. Not sure if i need to use and AFPR since it will be tuned or not.

That return line looks good. I kind of like it without the heat shrink on the end of it.

yeah i put the sleeve on it before i crimped them, i might re-heat shrink them just so it covers the crimped part of the fittings and not overlap like that straight end is.

about to start working on the intercoler and charge pipes. The intercooler i have is 2.25 inlet/outlet , any pro/cons between 2.25 and 2.50 charge pipes? Thinking about buying a new I/C.

Nah, you wont notice. I have 2" hot side and 3" cold side. with 2.5" in/out on the fmic. Smaller on the hot side will keep velocity up while going through the fmic. Looks goofy is all if you can see it and are paying attention.

bah its a 2.5" inlet outlet afterall not sure where i got the 2.25 from

Just go 2.5" all the way through or put 3" cold side and you will be just fine. You wont notice much provided the FMIC is rated to flow well enough.

right on, i did get it mounted tonight so some progress was made . And it seems to be an ebay special intercooler, the Emotors one.

What size is the turbo again? I think with what you are planning, I would go with the 2.5" hot side, (any info on the fmic?), then the 3" cold side. Should be able to match it up well with the throttle body as well as maintain velocity.

well got the i/c mounted and some of the pipe mocked up.

comes around the core support nicely and clears the fog lamp, and the ac accumulator.

need to make some hose adjustments, but it should just push out of the way for the most part.

charge pipe will follow the lower core.

pipes and couplers will be back as well. Maybe i can find some black clamps.

ive had this battery mount for almost 4 years and hat e to modify it but the hot pipe isnt going to clear it the way it is. Looking to extend the batter our from teh frame a few inches and allow the charge pipe to come though.

buch of not the right size charge pipe lying around from the GLH project, 2.25 . Some if it is the pipe that came with the grand am turbo kit, but it hope sizes from 2.25, 2.5, to 3. not sure what thats all about.

finally got around the clocking the wastegate counter clockwise a bit , not i can weld the U pipe in there from under the Y pipe.
