I am 99.9999999% sure i already know. It doesnt like not being used when it gets cold out. The past few years have been the same deal. I stop driving the car for the year and it gets cold and the battery dies. I toss a new one in in the spring and all is well. Trust me i do hate having to buy a new one each spring.
On to the update.
Good news: The oil is changed and i should be driving it by next weekend
Bad news: The battery didnt hold a charge so i told Ryan not to worry about tuning.
I should have another battery by Wedsenday and Ryan looked at the last data log we took. The car is drivable, but the tune still needs work. Oh and i started cleaning the interior up.
Have you thought about getting a battery tender? I use one and so far it keeps my battery healthy. Going on 2 years now with no issues. Sounds like you could give one a shot and not buy a battery every year
Unless you are getting it under warranty.

^this is what I was going to suggest. I used to use a Battery Tender JR on my old show car. Always kept the battery charged even in the cold assed Michigan winters!
Supercharged 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24
I did pick one up last year, but didnt get it on the car in time.
My favorite part of your car is still the license plate, lol.

What color are the wheels Tink? And your paint job on the hood has me thinking of a color scheme already for the future.

The wheels are Matte Bronze.
Holy s#!t did you finally wash the car!?
Looking good bud! I want a ride in it after Ryan tweaks the tune
Why yes I did and (you better be ready for this) I even started cleaning the dust/dirt out of the interior too.
Make me a splitter! I love the way it looks. Your car is gorgeous.
If you tell me you're going to wash the layers of dirt off your motor as well, I'm just going to go ahead and assume that hell has started to freeze over lol
Splitter makes that thing look great! Great combination all the way around!
finally some good outside pics......love it
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
Have to say, I think I found my new favorite cav on JBO. The look is perfect and I wouldn't change a single thing. Well done Tink
yeah that car is pure car porn, even as simple as it is (to the eyes)
what kind of material is that front splitter made out of? Id love to make a smaller one to run off my base bumper so I don't have to install some front spoiler..already low as it is

It's carbon fiber. Apr made it custom for him.

Hahaha I thought the same thing, people are gonna read that and be like wtf? And cavi junkies are gonna know if they live on jbo hahaha.
Car looks super clean and slick with out the wing.
Kudos
Straight lines are over-rated In My Opinion =]

Contact APR. They'll custom make you a splitter, just like they did for me.

Actually, it is Carbon fiber over fiberglass.

I am disappointed that i havent pissed off any Cobalt owners yet with the plate, but i do have the whole summer ahead of me.
On the topic of a "wing", i have 3 02 LSS/Z24 spoilers and have been thinking about having one(maybe more) wrapped in C/F and tossing one on the car.
The car is no where near perfect in person. It is a 10yr old car that has been ran HARD and will continue to be ran hard. Honestly the more i do to it, the harder i end up running it. I built it for one person, myself, but the fact that 95% of the people i meet like it is just an added bonus.
I really cant wait until i am able to get my own shop so i can really go crazy with the car.
I bet you like hearing it also when you inspire some people with either some ideas or plans for what they want to do to thier own rides as well.
Great job Tink, keep it up.

precisely!
And Im the same..if I do get a house in the near future, one of the very first purchases is an engine stand and a bare block. then, the part hoarding will commence!
the reasons I love my car are the exact opposite reasons everyone wants to upgrade and buy something new, comfortable, and expectedly fast. Mine requires a love for driving to appreciate its raw feel of the road and a constant need for tinkering (no pun intended
). sure it'd run fine if I left it alone..but me leaving my car alone is like me winning the lottery, it will most likely never happen lol

I hate him, the car, and the noises he makes while he's sleeping.
They tend to wake me, they are also rather sexual sounding.
Makes me feel unsafe.......
