Spray bomb....because project demoted to beater car

As most of you know I was in the process of doing a very nice base clear paint job and had been working on my body work for months..well to make it a short story the car got hit in the door and destroyed the door. Since it was not my fault they wrote me a check for 2k and I got to keep the car...so I went and bought a 50 dollar door and put it on the best I could and let it roll. well 1 day I was working on a project and using some gloss white rustoleum spray paint and got to looking at my primered sanded down car..so 1 wet sanded fender later I found out the paint actually layed down and looked decent so I started sanding the front end and so on....and here are a few pics (btw I did this back in September and the car still looks pretty good)...

Before

Just finished spraying and unmasking the front end

The morning after

just installed lamps

Door and rear fender (and if your wondering hood has water on it from where I was wet sanding door and fender.lol)

Did the roof with matte black and plasti dip on hood

I did the front bumper on my red car and it lasted quite a while. Still looked good when the bumper was ripped off in the accident. I vote shoot some clear over the entire car when done and you should be good to go for a while.

Nice job. Proof that execution plays a large part in a paint job.
Although spray bombed paint jobs will never last very long, they can come out good if you take your time.

I'm considering spraying my beater. This thread isn't helping. LOL

I would LOVE a few close up pictures of the joints (Bumper to fender, etc) and of any possible fisheyes or orange peel. Judging from those photos that painjob looks really good but then again so does my rusty car in photos from the same distance.

If you can get a few close ups that would be great, I love seeing photos of people doing paint jobs at home with non-automotive paint and pulling it off.
