Practice makes perfect, the more you get out to the track the faster and faster the car will be.
There is HUGE time to be found out on the track, you just need to get out there and find them, its only tenths.
I'll do my best to get some vids up guys.
if you want flames between gears, get a meth injection kit. i had no idea mine even did it before someone else drove it with me standing on the road. lol it was pretty neat seeing it, honestly.
RIP silver car. You will be missed.
Its from the LSJ.
When running a LSJ head or valve cover that is the idi cover
yeah. just like Im about to have to...you just cut out the section for the ICM. The LSJ valve covers are on css.net all the time for nothing.. like $30-50 shipped i think

^^Well you should just run the LSJ coil setup.
I will be swapping as soon as I can.
but wont I have to splice into the L61 harness? Id like to keep the harness unmolested as much as possible. Is there a write up that shows whats involved with this? Matt (evil) mentioned it quite a while back but it wasnt on the priority of lists of things to do at the time. Ill need to go back and see what he said

Brad - I have meth injection.
Yes that is the LSJ valve cover with the L61 coils underneath so I had to cut away part of the cover to make room for the ICM.
Well a bit of bad news, thanks to my wonderful job I didn't get a chance to tune the car as planed...hell I barely made it racing at all.
Other bad news, thanks to heavy rains the night before the track was only running 1/8th mile yesterday (water bubbles up under the pavement at the top end of the track).
That all being said tho, I did turn the boost up to 11.5psi and after some tweaking with the 2-step and NLS I managed a best run of 7.8@91mph.
Very confident that would of been an 11.8-11.9 had it been the full 1/4 mile.
Also, going to need to get some new tires for next year, these 22x9.0-13's are just way to short for a turbo car.....first gear is WAY to short with them....and finding traction is a bitch.
Anywho....here is the slip.
Thanks man!
Now if I could just get a chance to tune it, hopefully it goes smoother than last time I tried....lol
Thanks man!
Hopefully set the 2.4 Ecotec 1/4 mile record next year
