I just got a 2004 sunfire and was wondering if i could put dc sport 4-2-1 headers and exhaust system on my fire because the cav has the same ecotec engine and they sell it for the cav.

Yes it does. Whoever is listing it probably just doesn't have the application up there. You can take the body panels off a cavalier, put it on a sunfire, and you'd have a cavalier. The only difference is the exterior sheet metal and the interior. Everything else is exactly the same.

I diddn't know that the DC Sports header was out yet for the Ecotec...how much?

And according to the DC web page the ecotec header is a 4-1. no big deal as you wont notice a difference.

I wouldn't hold your breath on it... the 95-99 headers are also "coming soon" ... so that may mean never.
