Wrecked my baby... R.I.P.
Friday, October 26, 2012 8:37 PM
Well... A series of unfortunate events landed the front end of my '99 Cavalier Z-24 under the rear bumper of a 1500 chevy truck... Not much else to say i guess...

I never did take many pictures, no camera.. not that into it.. but heres a few of my favs i have..

Camouflaged

One of the first pics I ever saw of her before I bought..

The lights!

And the devastation..

She will be missed dearly, but has been replaced with a red 04 LSS Coupe. Has pretty much the same options as my z did, except its not a manual trans

I will be doing a small part out on the z, so if your in need of any parts for/from a 99 2.4 manual trans.. let me know, make an offer... I reserve teh right to say no to any particular part if I don't feel like pullin it off lol

Have a nice day.

Were those LED strips/sticks you had behind the grill and hood?

Yeah, three led strips total.. one was lighting up the hood gap and then two were down on that rubber damper or whatever it is, pointed forward. looked pretty sweet even though I couldnt drive with them on...

I hear ya. It's the same here. But that is giving me possible ideas for in the future.

Btw, it's a shame what happened to your Z.

That depends on how many parts I pull off of it. To be honest aside from the parts i have on it there isnt much worth anything on the car but the motor and trans

Well that would be fair i suppose, the same thought crossed my mind but i dont have the time to do deal with a race car. The biggest issue for that would be replacing the radiator support and related pieces, also re wiring a fair portion of the engine bay. (Throttle body, fuse block areas)

Have a nice day.
