I'm very excited about this, i will deffintly be buying it, would it be much help wiht a car just with an intake, a pulley, and an exhaust system?
this is the only real piece of the puzzle that our platform lacks.. well that and a good dif for the f23.. but this is a HUGE (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) part of the big picture for the J bodies.
Sven you totally quarterloafed your computer..
I would like to know if the version for the cavaliers will allow for use of a 2 bar map.
I have used hptuners before, amazing software, does wonders for the computer controlled auto trannys.
Chris good to see you joined up. Hows Keiths car running? I heard he just moved and moved the car with him. i wondered if the neighbors noticed. LOL. Anyway, goodluck with getting the programs lined up. I know you have a great crew and i know a lot of people on the MFBA board that use you guys, plus i saw you got a little insert into the chevy magazine world Very nice write up in there. Looking forward to see the product come out and tell keith he needs to lose more weight off of his car. Im sure there is still a nut and bold that can get that car lighter than it already is. lol Take it easy.

Thanks for the kind words!
Yeah i am sure the neighbors noticed by their windows shaking when he pulled it off the trailer
I don't think he could get the car any lower, maybe there is some new liteweight paint he hasn't tried yet... he is chasing the "more power" option now which is much more fun.
Chris...
not sure if this was brought up yet or not. this product will most likley enable you to get rid of the speed limiter.
if that is the case, this product should come fo some sort of warning like "Not intended for street use. track only" or something like that
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
i have a nooby question, and i saw this question was already asked but i didnt see a anwsner

this really is not a chip it is basicly the unlock key to your comps brain. but yes if your not boosted you can use this too fine tune your curve and gain a few ponies

I'm still curious whether the Cavalier tunning will work on a Sunfire. I cannot for the life of me see why not since they are the exact same car, barring a couple of body parts.

I'm also very concerned about this, some clarification would be great.

All I know is that my car redlines at 6250 something and a cavi can go up to 6500rpms.
Maybe a difference, or just programming.
My Car
Cavalier= sunfire, sunfire = cavalier. The engine, tranny, ECM, and everything is identical on these cars, the only differences are consmetic. Cavaliere do not redline any higher than sunfires, you have been mistaken, the tach is off, or something. The rev limiter is coded into the ECM, which is the same regardless of the car. Not being a dick, its the truth
Dreams do come true....

I'm in and ready to pay too. Will tune N/A, then turbo when I get my Hahn system with PortFueler, etc.
Any updates on this, Chris?
Thanks in advance!
Sasuke wrote:I'm in and ready to pay too. Will tune N/A, then turbo when I get my Hahn system with PortFueler, etc.
for the record, portfueler is a band aid fix that allows you to boost with the stock ecu... with the HP tuners software, portfueler becomes an added and unecessary expense.

portfueler is definately not a band-aid. a band-aid only works for a little while. the portfueler will last as long as you tune it for. its a quick solution maybe but its WAY more than a band-aid
I used to race cars, now I race myself.
