yea I got it

the list has been submitted - Keith will probably take a while to check it out since he's quite busy. Those who get chosen let us know! It should only be a few weeks if not sooner

And now I'll return to tweaking OBDI programs - Honey! Bring me my burner!!

Good luck guys!

I'll check with them.. been so busy with my business and buying a house I haven't been keeping up.
I don't think they've picked anybody yet though. Beta should be about done by now I would think, which means they should pick soon

Beta Theta Alpha Omega.... all I care about is wondering if it will be compatable with other 2.4L equipped cars such as oh... say an N-body such as mine...

2.4L 5spd... same wiring, pretty sure the bcm is all wacky different.
-Trailblazer SS - not so custom 6.0L - custom intake - custom tune
- (1) 2.4L on an engine stand (1) blown trans (2) good quad trans (1) eco trans = party

to clarify for those not software lingo savy.. here are the steps software usually takes (very simplified)

1. Aplha (usually unusable and only of interest to programmers)
2. Beta (mostly usable but doesnt contain all features and isnt tested fully)
3. Release Candidate (all final features are included but not completely tested) RC1, RC2...
3. Final Release (tested and completed)
Hey ROBO... I will be needing to get a cheap used lap top, so I can run the HP software. What kind of requirements do I need to look for in the computer department?
I wanna jump on the dyno for a day, and just play with the software . Sounds like a good way to kill an afternoon! I'm just dieing to get my hands on software like this so that I can play with this motor and see what it likes! So far, I'm impressed, but I'd still like to get to know this engine's characteristics a bit better! Nothing a car, some wires and a couple of dyno rollers couldn't fix . I WANNA BREAK SOMETHING !!

Robogeek, I had a couple of questions. As I will be using a 3400 v6 from a Grand Am and there is already some software for that.

First - what the hell is 'transmission abuse mode'
2nd - Can I use the software to eliminate the automatic tranny controls since i'll be running a 5spd?

Finally some1 else computer savvy!! Haha. AA in Computer Networking, A+ Core done, A+ OS soon (for the full A+ Cert). Might go into cars, MECP, ASE, dunno yet. I wanna do Multimedia & computer set-ups in vehicles.

This software is sounding pretty sweet. I'll have to revert my laptop back to XP again. Running Lindows right now.
Hmm... I need a sig!

im wondering what they used for a windowing agent in their code. hopefully not Windows.F orms. if they used GTk# or GTk+ then things will ge great for linux/MAC OSX guys. although i doubt they used GTk# since it is rather new. maybe ROBO can get us/me some info on this and maybe i can put together a linux/MAC OSX install HOW-TO.
