2200 tuning
Sunday, October 22, 2006 5:17 PM
i have hptuners and have a slight problem. under full boost 6psi, the car still leans out to 16. starts at 11 and when hitting high rpms it leans out. also sees about 4-5 knock in the scanner. ive adjusted the pe table mult vs. rpm lower to richen it up and lowered the delay to 3500. now im stumped on what else i could do.

also on a second question, when the car is cold and you first attempt to give it gas it will bogg and sometimes die. after it warms it runs fine. im running 550cc and i have already changed the constant. it idles great. what needs to be done to correct both of these.

any and all help appreciated.

So its leaning out on the top end?

Your FPR may not be allowing enough fuel on the top end, or the injectors are not injecting enough fuel. Which FPR are you running? Is it designed for boost?

i have the fpr from rksport. it goes on after the stock fpr and creates pressure. also its a "riser" 2:1.

After looking at the log you sent me, you are running lean up top with quite a bit of knock... You say that your running 50psi and 550's.... I think your running too rich at bottom due to too much fuel psi... Back it off... Also, after looking at your file, I noticed you have your PE Mult vs. RPM maxed to the richest you can make it.... Your profile says you have a Walbro 255... Is it Hi Vol, or Hi Psi??? There are a couple other things I see, but Il talk to you about them later....
