Hey I have a 2004 GTO, and going by Sylvania's lamp replacement guide, I have H11 low beam and H9 high beam headlights. That just happens to be the same thing as what comes up for an '03-'04 Sunfire. I don't see that Silverstars (which are what I want) are available in these sizes, and I'm having trouble finding aftermarket bulbs at all (not even cheap eBay specials). What do you guys have, short of projectors?

keep watching ebay....they do exist and thats where I seen them. Sylvanie still doesn't use those sizes...at all...silverstars or not
Do you have a picture of them turned on? I know that I bought bulbs for my Cavy off eBay before and they ended up being more blue than white and burned out after about a year. But they were only about $10 a pair shipped. These would end up being almost $40 shipped!

I have had the same problem with my 03 Sunfire. Why Pontiac decided to use these bulbs is beyond me. I have been told to look into using these bulbs:
PIAA Xtreme White Plus H11 - 55W=110W color temp 4000K
Nokya Arctic White H11 - 55W=100W OR 80W=100W color temp 7000K
Nokya Hyper Yellow H11 - 55W=100W color temp 2500K
If you are looking for a cool blue look to your lights, go with the Nokya Arctic Whites (but your visibility will suck, especially in the rain). Depending on which website I looked at these Nokyas had two different draw wattages (50 or 80), I'm not sure what the actual wattage of the bulbs are. The PIAAs burn at 4000K, so you will get a very pure white light (awesome visibility).
Does anyone know if we should be worried about these high performance bulbs burning out the wires or melting the headlight assembly? Also, isn't the H11 also used for our DRLs? Anybody know what that will to the lifetime of the bulb?

Damn I just checked out the PIAA H11 bulbs and even on eBay they are $80 shipped!! That's just too much for something that could burn out at any time.

I found the PIAA H9's.... they're just as expensive as the H11's. I would be looking at around $175 for 4 bulbs shipped on eBay. Damn I miss the cheap 9005/9006's of my '99 Cavy

I got my low beams from Hoen. I got the h11 Titanium series. Nice white output. But they carry both the h11 and h9 and have about 5 different versions. I would recommend the xenonmatch Titanium but the y do have high output versions you could try.

thay have both h9 and h11 in white, hyper white (it looks kinda bluish) and purple. i have the hyper whites and the output kinda sucks cuz everything looks blue but get some bright fogs and you'll be set. thats what i got and it doesnt look too shabby!! i like how they look.
i bought a set of h11's from carpart.com off of ebay, and personally they are way blue and light output is the same as oem. the higher wattage bulbs will melt wiring and the lense so watch out. there are some kits available to handle the wattage, but i don't know if the headlight can take the heat.

i got all four bulbs off of ebay screenname ntbk. they are blue and have same as factory output. but i do have silverstar fog lights. they are like night and day difference. i would strongly suggest them if you want to see. i love them

They are actually pretty nice bulbs for the price. Not as good as the Silverstars but still bright.
Have the same bulbs but have the Silverstars in my foglights and it seems like the Fog lights are BRIGHTER than my headlights. Can't wait for silver stars to come out in the H9 an H11.
