I was just wondering who all has a problem with the stock fenders shifting and the door hitting them?

I have this problem with my Z3 fenders. Right now they look horrible along the door line. I plan on rigging something up to push the fender out from the inside, then filling in the back part of the fender with filler and making the lines flush again. I'll take some before/after pics this upcoming weekend on what I was talking about.

If the car is still under warranty, is stuff like this covered?

Seems to me that they made a major design error.

On mornings when it's cold enough, my freakin' driver door sounds like a gunshot.

Makes people turn to look and they probably think my Cav is a POS.

hehe

I had this problem, i just shimmed the bolts at the end of that curve near the frame, pushes it out enough so it doesnt happen

I never had this problem cause my skirts are molded to the car. Not even on a lift do I have this problem LOL.
Why don't you guys try putting a pressure washer between the bolt and the fender at the bottom where the fender connects. It may create enough pressure where the fender will stay in place.
