i dont think the 03+ cavs have corner lights lol. im sure you could take your headlight apart and either remove or replace your amber reflector with a clear one...but thats probably about it.

My buddy Jame's was the first with balls to take his headlights apart, he also painted the black surround to match his car.

How hard is it to get the headlight apart and where can you get the clear reflector?

That looks great.

they dont make clear reflectors that sit right in people leave them out and to take them apart u have to heat them up in the oven at the right degree for like 15 min than take the clear cover off and take the reflectors off and I think adhesive the plastic back together.

I did the same thing but painted the black inside the headlight assembly. Its really not that hard of a process and mine hasnt had any leaks yet.

Yeah, maybe I'll get crazy one day and decide to try it. I can't wait to explain to my wife why my headlights are going in the oven...

Does this make your oven stink?

If so, she will never go for this.

If someone who has done this could be a little more elaborate, some of us would like to try it. Or maybe post a link, etc. I don't want to bake mine too long and end up with 2 radioactive piles of plastic and glass!

Thanks!

put em in for 5-10 mins at 200ish on a pan, let them get pliable pry lens/black part apart with screwdrivers, cut away the adhesive, go around light, reheat when needed. Silicone it back together done.

DAP clear silicone ultra did the trick when I resealed my headlights. I got it at Lowe's but I am sure you can find it at other places as well.

Plus seal them inside the house where its dry. And let them set overnight before you put them back in your car.

how do you keep from damaging either the clear plastic or black plastic housing while prying?
