Color matching probably won't be exact, but working with vinyl first is a good way to see if you like how something looks, and then you can get it painted to make sure it matches.

Vinyl will come right off... It's just a sticker.

well i think im jsut gonna black out the inner tails and maybe do somethin with the reverse light. so where can i buy just a sheet of vynal? cuz i figure it wont be too expensive and if i dont like it ill jsut take it off.

you could go to any local sign shop and they will have sheets for you....I did Vinyl for my eyelids for awhile....then i liked it so much i am having them done the right way.

So its a good choice going with Vinyl first....That way if you don't like it...no harm done!

how can you say "it's a sticker, it'll come right off"??

ppl use vinyl for decals (that add horses) all the time.

those don't "come right off"

^^ Stickers will come off with ease... It's just vinyl.
If they've been on for awhile, just use a heat gun or hair dryer and heat them up a bit. Nothing difficult.

i know they can and will come off easily, but you made it sound like they would come flying off his taillights while he was drivin' or somethin'.

i was just statin' the fact that they weren't.

I have euro tails and just like you said I didn't want the look so I painted mine. You can get an exact match just have a local body shop mix you up some paint. I want mine to be offset to the car cause it matches my ghost flames. heres a pic hope it helps

Heres mine,

<a href="http://img57.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img57&image=p11700423gt.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img57.exs.cx/img57/9835/p11700423gt.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a>

Its just temporary and i wanted to see how it looked before i went with it. hence the reason they are not perfect circles, and the cuts arent the best. and as for taking them off, a pressure washer will do it. trust me i know dang it, it sucked, but hey im doing htem again more than likely tomm on my day off. I have more pics of them on my cardomain site too.

How much is the vynal that you sell? I would need black again if i mess up with what i have left over.plus i need to figure out the correct template so i can do it in one piece, Its hard since its curved, its like wrapping a basketball with paper. Kinda tough. So if anyone has a template or something to print out plz let me know.
