OEM C/F Hood for 2000 Sunfire...Need Opinions
Saturday, March 12, 2005 9:57 PM
At first I was looking at modifying an RK Sport hood, but now I'm leaning towards an OEM C/F hood.

So far, I'm seeing that Aerogear and RSM sell these hoods. I'm wondering if either are good quality and fit well. I don't wanna get stuck with something that's lacking in either category. Any and all opinions are VERY welcome. Thanks, guys!!!

Does Vis make one for the earlier fire's. If so, I would go with that.

I'm not really sure if VIS makes a hood for us. But I've definitely heard that their products are good quality.

Man, I think you just made up my mind...that looks SUH-WEET!!! I just hit up JSP's website and it's listed but with no picture or price. If you don't mind me asking, how much was yours and where'd you buy it?

I actually bought it off a guy here in Ontario. I paid $400 for it. He told me it was there prototype hood. Not sure on the price of a brand new one. Maybe give them a call or email them. When putting the hood on it went on no problem. Lined up perfectly. I still have to install the hood pins cause it scares me how much it moves when I'm on the highway.
