You would think.....

That I would have an easier time finding parts for a J body, now that many happening to hit the yards......not so, it seems....

After avoiding being hit for years, my wife's 2003 sedan finally got nailed in a hit and run. Seems like it happens more and more here, since the cost is so high for car insurance, and no one seems to have it...I've got the car in much better shape, but I still need some parts to finish the job. All I need is a driver's side front fender, and a hood. (buying a new headlight online) So I figure it should be easy to find a silver sedan in the yard...but there seems to be so few...

I've hit numerous yards in my area, and only found two 03+ sedans-but both had damage on the front end. Most of the Cavs that I have found seem to be rusted out 90s coupe...with a few older totally bashed older sedans. Also talked with a few yards....also seems many of these just get crushed first....

So, in debate on what to do. Worse case, I could buy panels( new) off Rock auto. But they don't seem to be up to snuff like those totally finished OE panels.

Plan to keep looking...maybe I will get lucky...

But, I'd like to ask...has anyone seen any 2003+ sedans (bonus for silver) out there in the yards? Might be, but I still see a bunch on the roads....

Wife really would like me to fix it, as she would like to keep driving it.. (kinda her baby, is that "first" new car...)

95-02 coupe and sedan fenders will fit. You just have to remove the corner light brackets.

I thought maybe the sedans would fit...but I did not know the coupes did!

That is interesting......

The corner light/marker light brackets are the only difference between in the fenders from 95-05. 03-05 do not run the brackets, so you can just cut them off. Couples and sedans use the same exact fenders.

The front fenders on my 03 are 95-99 Toyo cavalier fenders with the brackets removed.

Thank you kindly for the tip kind sir.... You'd think after me owning Js for like almost 20 years I'd know that, but I think I last replaced a fender like 15 years ago on my first gen....don't replace these very often...

This opens the search, now it is just finding panels/hood that are not beaten to heck.........
