i seen this one guy who did that on a sunfire, like they said search it, but the guy i seen do it i think his name is like Btman or something like that.

^^^ if you're going to have no projector in there, you are going to have ZERO output. you will get a circle, and thats it. no beam or anything.

why would he just have a circle. not hat i'm saying your wrong or anything, i just dont understand why. theres alot of cars with clear lenses, no?

because the lights were originally made w/ the front lens that would focus the light in certain areas. just slapping a clear lens with no focusing elements whatsoever causes odd output. cars w/ clear lenses have the chrome reflector as the focusing element (notice, the lines, etc)

This is what your output WILL look like, pherz1er...




This was when I first made them a couple years ago. They were the same as you have them now. You may look at that pic and think, "well that doesn't look that bad", but trust me it gets exponentially worse with distance. You'se gonna need a projector if you want to see at night, isn't that difficult really. You should be able to figure it out with no problem.

Thanks for the info guys, it should be no problem swiching them out.
BTW what if I steal a refector(the thing that covers the bulb on 00'-02' cavi's) or what ever its called out of another headlight and add it on?would this help?

the bulb cap that covers the bulb wont do anything. its purpose of it is to block out light from the bulb in directions its not wanted. you need the reflector part, which is a little more complicated.....

how did you make the clear lense? That is what I would like to know. I got a spare set of housings just sitting here crying for me to do something with them.

i sell hte clear lenses and angel eyse and also clear lenses if not make you own with plexi glass or acralyic (sp)
