Ok right now this is just me finding out what size's you guys are in need of. I am gonna be talking with my machinist about size's and what not. So 2.4 or 2.2 guys what sizes are you lookin for?????
2.4 sizes:
2.2 sizes:
Before spring I am hoping to have a whole line of T/B's available and with a powdercoated option
. This is just one of four projects right now I am tryin to do for this community, two of the others are boost specific though. The last is ported heads, PM me if you want info and pricing.

i'm looking for a 2200 engine TB bored out to 56-59mm.
For the 2.4's, really any All motor J, a 57mm. RSM use to make a 57mm. I have one, it is great!!!! A 62mm loses to much bottom end for our RPM span.

2.2l ecotec... a 58mm runs like 300 buck in some places
Is it still speeding if the speedometer dosen't work???
62mm does NOT lose bottom end power, thats a myth. Just like 2.5" exhaust is too big for a n/a application, which its not.
When I added my 62mm it made a world of difference midrange and top end and I definately didnt lose any bottom end whatsoever
Personally I think you make a 62mm TB like RSM has and just price it cheaper for the 2.4... a nice 59mm TB for the 2.2 Eco and a 57mm for the 2.2 OHV. On top of that make some boost specific TBs. God knows I want bigger TB right now

I was not talking myth. I have seen the same car run better with a 57mm TB, than it did with a 62mm tb.

i'd be interested in a 59mm or 62mm for a 2.4
hugs and hand pounds, peace
59mm for the 2.2 eco would be sweet
the eco's are either 56 or 58 stock
i think they used 2 sizes
Id buy a 57 for a 2200...phil
56-59mm for a 2200 please!
How difficult would it be for you to have a just like an order sheet of what everyone wanted? Would that be difficult to maintain and keep up with or what?
yea but he is the one thats going to be making them, and cheaper to boot lol.....I wouldnt mind have a 62mm, but with your m62 project i would like to see some 70mm maybe bigger, i think you said we would need to run 70mm t/b's, but i am not positive lol.....

Whoa whoa , so it's not true that a 62mm throttle body will move the power band up?
It will probably act like an aftermarket intake, it's crap on bottom end power but it give you high end power, probably the same thing. But there's always a limit on the size of it to be efficient...
Well, at what point does bottom end cease to be? Up to 2.5k rpm?
Well as I thought there are just a few different sizes lol. Heres what we can do, I can do them per order (you spec size, I get it done) or I can do a batch of a few and it would be quicker for shippin. But if you dont mind the slightly longer wait then we can deff do it as a per customer deal. Commons sizes I will prob have a few pre made.

fats02z28, what prices from the machinist or you are pricing for the TBs to be bored out? i have my stock tb that i might want to be bored to at least 57-59mm. currently i have the 56mm from a 2.3, which suits me fine but a bit larger isnt a bad thing. thanks fats02z28
think of it this way........ when your racing at the track or whatever wheres your rpms at?? Its at the top so a bigger throttle body would be better imo. low end is used to get off from a start and for fuel economy.

On a per order basis would probably be easiest for you.
Maybe get a deposit, that way you're not stuck with all these Tbs laying around.
For me, keeping the cost of ANY tb under $150 is cool.
Same time, mose folks are getting their machine shops to port for only about $100.
And this include things like knife edging, or thinner tb plates.
So that's a general idea where things stand for this community.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
I dont have prices right now. But I am tryin to keep it between 150 and 200, but the higher would most likely be offered as a powdercoated option (any color in the eastwood catolog)
