Are
cold air intakes worth installing? Do they really improve a vehicle's acceleration and fuel efficiency?
Just installed one on mine, not a true cold air but not a short ram either. Cant say i see much diff fuel wise. Not a huge diff with power unless u get into the higher rpm range. Maybe slight more torque. I wouldnt spend a ton on one but a ebay one will do just fine.

You can modify the stock airbox to do just as well as any aftermarket intake. There might be a thread or two in the archives about that with pics.
The stock under hood plastic is getting really brittle in my 97 Z24. So anything that does away with the broken tabs on my intake is a worth while upgrade in my opinion.
