2.4 supercharger

what is it with the 2.4 supercharger looks like a lot of people have them but no one really has 1/4 time slips with the charger on?
there are a few i know, but looking at that one post in the photo section theres millions of them with the charger.

it depends on what else you do.. fully stock engine + fully stock kit will be better than stock, but not to its full potential..

built engine, smaller pulley, methanol injection, excellent tune, ported supercharger, ported head, full intake and exhaust, etc... do as much as you want...

the car is already 14.90s in 1/4 with me missing 3rd so i was wondering if if would put me in the 13s with the charger. i have 2 get hp tuners for it and get it tuned and yea i shift it it is an auto but my times are way faster than if i leave it in drive. plain and simple i need hp tuners

14.90's with this mod list? And an automatic tranny? From the 2nd item on the list all the way down does next to nothing. Not to mention the CryO2 kit on an N/A car. Time slips demanded.

How much power does that throttle body spacer and furious invasion intake chip give you?

I also have serious doubts of you being able to get a significantly (if any) faster time than if you left it in D and let the auto shift at the precise moment it should.

i put my time slips up under my car 14.99 1/4 the intake chip is suppost 2 make the computer dump more fuel in to the motor as for the spacer maby 3 or 4 hp. i didnt got all out on the motor or nothing but the car is extremley light almost no weight

car does not shift in drive anymore you can leave it in drive but i have 2 let off of the throttle then it will shift other wise it pegs the tach

luke- i believe the cyro2 would help his car seeing as how the OBX manifold is aluminum and just like my venom it gets very hot to the touch. so a cooling mod would probably help. my venom is basically the same exact thing and it gets so hot you cant hold your hand on it. just as hot as a boiling m45 thats for damn sure...

^^Gotcha, well that makes sense. But I still find a 14.90 hard to believe with an automatic tranny and his mod list. Actually, now he says its a 14.99 which is almost a tenth difference, which is a little more believable I guess.

i doubt the cooling system would help THAT much, but hell you never know. as far as i know ive never heard of anybody on HERE using a cooling mod such as this on a 2.4 with either the venom or OBX manifold's... so its really up in the air.

even still i to find it hard to believe... most ld9 4t40e cars need a stall converter and tons of bolt on's to break a 15.5.

however... he did say the car was extremely gutted. i could see an auto 2.4 running that fast IF and only IF it was light as a feather. im talking zero interior, heater box, ac, wipers.. ALL non-essentials GONE. then i think i could choke it down.

really... thats not bad. i could definitely see this thing going that fast. reminds me of the SMG race car LOL

one thing... i would think the big huge front bumper would create more drag than the gap under the headlights...
