doing front end swap.. i got 00 headlights and my old hood covers up the head lightsand wont shut with them in their correct spot.. the FAQ doest say i need a 00+ hood but could it be possible..
lemme list what parts i have so far just to be sure i have everything...
-i got a 99 sunfire healight pitails.. they fit the lamps i have
-00-02 fenders
-getting new bumper
-00+ healights and corners
-new GM corner brackets

hood latch assembly- the cross arm thing aswell. it attaches at the upp and lower core supports...
as far as I know, the hoods from 95-02 are the same. as are the fenders (with the exception of the corner bracket)
hood is same, headlights may be aimed up to high. i know my hood sits right on the headlight on pass side but the mount is messed up a lil.
95-02 hoods are all the same
if your having problems with hood its because of mounting of something.
