I have a 2004 ecotec cavalier with an AEM cold air intake and mild exhaust being my only mods. I'm thinking about adding a 50 shot of nitrous oxide with the NX EFI wet kit. I realize that I must run premium fuel and get colder spark plugs. But I read in an earlier post that the colder spark plugs, when not running nitrous, wear out much faster than normal. Is this true and , if so, how bad is it? Also, any spark plug recomendations would be helpful.
ngk tr6 #4177 or autolite 103
i know the ngk's are cheap enough that 04ecolssport was changing them at every oil change
and yeah, those plugs are shorter than stock but nobody has found anything colder of equal length
are the TR6s irriduim?

NGK: V-power spark plug
14mm, .708"(18mm) reach, 5/8" hex, tapered seat, resistor, projected tip, V-power (v-grooved center electrode), .039"gap
NGK's unique V-Power design directs the spark to the edge of the electrode where it develops more rapidly, this increases ignitability even in lean burn conditions. In addition the NGK V-Power plug has all the features of their traditional plugs including corrugated ribs, pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for greater strength and better heat transfer, copper core and triple interior seal.

They will screw into the hole but they are almost 3/8" too short, so the tip ends up stuck way up in the hole.
I can't find anything on Summit that says TR6s are for an Ecotec.
