I had a 34 x 30 x 14 box in my cav with 3 12's but i had to cut out some notches in the metal for it to get into the trunk. Which was 8.26 before driver, bracing, and port displacement. Those panels between the folding part of the back seat and the trunk . Just take the plastic off cut the metal behind them slip the box in, then just put the plastic back over them. You will have to slide the box in from the trunk.

also how much does that setup "hurt" the people in the car

The 3 12"s was my favorite setup. It got down enough to shake the rims tires and everything else. It was 3 13kv3 d2 elemental designs subs and a nine.1 amp at about 1100 wrms. The 2 ported 18's got down right nasty. It was enough to make it hard to breathe but it was doing damage to my car, it damaged the window track thing in the pasenger door to where my window does not work right. That was 2 19ov.2 d2 subs by elemental designs. 2 nine.1 amps strapped on a 2 ohm load (1ohm each) i got about 2800 watts rms out of the pair when i set with the oscope in 7.5 after displacments to 35hz heres a short video http://s76.photobucket.com/albums/j23/steveo200077/?action=view¤t=P1010001-1.flv

My box is 36x30x15, which is a bonafide 8.2 internal cubic feet. Why you ask? Because I can.

wow, that vid is freakn cool... i like how the fuzz buster like flaps crazy lol that was funny i acctually lol'd

but yeah, i cant see wanting to do that to a daily driven car, thats just too much bass imo. 2 12's in a non-custom box in the trunk with the right wattage is plenty loud for me.

one more question, would cutting the metal ruin the structural integrity of the cars rear end or is it just useless metal gm wanted to throw into the car. if it is useful, would a rear tower strut solve the problem.

depends on what metal. I was told the rear deck has to be in the car. or it will fold but ive removed some stuff.

i wish i had a video of my car, my 4 15's in the back seat area(not in a wall) can rattle the doors and make it look like one is gonna fall off when one door is open

I might have to do 15's. But I got in a accident, took it to the body shop to have the work done and they have FUBAR'ed my car. Crazy orange peel, panels not straight, door leaking, I can go on and on. I just want to sell the cav and start over. Maybe a tahoe

cut what specifically. The rear deck from what I have been told has to stay. What else what you need to remove.
