So, my friend offered me up a deal, and i was wondering if you guys thought it was a pretty good setup, if it would hit pretty good and everything. He offered me a MTX 9500 12 in a jackhammer box (have the jackhammer box as its bigger than the sledgehammer he said), an MTX 801D amplifier and a farad compasitor. Hes giving me all this for one of my MTX 4500 10s and $300 ... do you guys think its a good deal?? Would it sound good, and hit alright?? Thanks.

Thats a very good deal,the mtx 9500's are an excellent clean sub that go for i believe around $550,the 801d is an excellent amp too i believe it does 800rmsx1 and 2 ohms so it will be sufficient power for your sub and that amp was around $500 when it came out.....definately a steal 4 u good find let us know how it sounds and lets see pics!
