t3/t04B or t3/t04E, quick

the question is which turbocharger should I bolt on to my LD9, I have a smaller one right now, and am looking to go bigger. I would like to order today or tomorrow, and need your input.


Both are T3/T4, 0.63 turbine, 0.50 compressor. The B is 50trim and the E is 57trim, I was searching for dyno charts or RPM's that they start building boost, I know I have seen some on here, but more input the better. Thanks for everything.

From what I can see the t04E compressor wheel performs better at pressures above 15 psi, and I am looking to run 10-13, so what would be your choice?

I would use the 50 trim. The 50 trim map is just so much broader then the 57 trim. And it's good up to a good size boost level. I would vote for the 50 trim. It'll perform better, especially at the lower boost levels then the 57 trim will.

I am going to run 300WHP MAX, likely only 250-260, and I may run 7-10 daily. I forgot to add that.

I am just looking for someone with a B or E, and what they like about it, and what they don't like. RPMS's that it starts boosting, etc, just any info from people with the 2.4 or eco

You're thinking of a T04E-50 trim, which is what I would also suggest.
A T04B is very big. Karas ran a T04B 60-1 for his 400+whp, Cavattack (I think) is running a 60-1 on his car, and there may be one more around here with a 62-1, but they are overkill for what you're looking for. I don't think there is such a thing as a T04B-50 trim...

A .63 is a little big on the turbine side and will cause nasty boost lag, IIRC





................Which car will hit 400 whp first???................
