mmmm, but I was expecting better times out of the Hahn kit for some reason. Im sure the tires will help you quite a bit though.

Had one and made no difference. Actually it tore the crap out of the boot and I can shift the car just as fast with out.
GM badge FTW!! can't wait to see 13s
very nice LS Sport
hmmmm you should be able to pull 13's with what you have for sure before the radials. i would suggest starting at about 14psi and see how they feel, then maybe drop them down to 10. i had the same ones on mine and ran them at 12 launching at about 4K.
Your going to want wider tires......

$95 a piece, not bad. Mind if I ask where you got them?
Now up the boost
Nice, I was also thinking wider tires.

Jack Williams (wholesale) - I bought them through the Chevy Dealership I work at.
From what I can find that size is hard to come by.

Not a good idea on stock bottom end. It's pretty much a crap shoot if it'll hold up.
If you are at 8psi now, I would slowly increase the boost and mess w/ hpt to increase fuel in a slight amount until you're afr's come back into check. Increase in 2psi intervals to be safe. That way if you do lean out it won't be that bad. Let's say you're running 11.5 afr's right now, which is slightly rich but safe for stock internals, you up it about 2psi, you're afr's should go into the 12's, not terrible but bad enough to cause damage for an extended period of time. Also as you are increasing you boost make sure you keep an eye on knock and are pulling timing as you see knock. At the afformentioned 14psi you should have to pull roughly 10 degrees of timing, not a really smart idea, you're egt's will raise quite significantly with that amount of timing pulled from the engine.
As it sits right now, with only 8psi outta a 16g you should actually be able to have slightly advanced timing, maybe 1 or 2 degrees.
BTW, nice toys lemme know how that profec works out for ya, I'm looking into a ebc and can't decide between the greddy or aem unit.

My mistake I misread the post, thought it was about boost pressure not tire pressure.

i would suggest mounting the tires properly. they are directional.

LOL, Thats why I said in my original post saying "I only tried 1 to make sure the rims would clear"
I know they are directional....I mounted them myself and saw the little "direction w/ arrow" on the side wall.
I usually ran 10psi in my 15" BFG drag radials, but yeah start at like 14 and work your way down
Nice DRs. Clean 14s. Came from a 1988?? wow
did you hit the track yet or what?
