I wonder why I even waste my time. With @$$holes.

Well i'm not trying to narq on your ride man I just want to know like PJ! I have mostly all SCC's sicne july 01' so please let me know so I can flip to it! All I really remember ever in the big mags were a couple turbo'ed Z2.4s and two Eco's! Wish I saw a base model! Since you say it was in there a couple times then I should be able to find it easy! And I'd love to know specs on getting over 180whp on our cars!

(*prays this is really true*)

2200 SFI = 115hp, 130tq (98-02)
2.2l = 120hp, 125tq (95-97)

those are the numbers dont get to confuse

I hated those motors and will always hate them. Blown 2 of them in 1year. thank god it was on GM warranty. it would of cost me 7000$ can funds to repair it.

Lets see, you just registered for this site yesterday and then you make one of your first posts claiming you one of the most powerful n/a motors on this entire site and its a 2.2ohv then you get pissed off when people ask for proof? LOL!
If you car was in Sport Compact Car a couple times i don't know how i could have missed it. I have every issue of that magazine for probably the last 5 years and the only Cavs i remember were Rick King's 2.4, Joe Kenefic's 2.4, RSM Sunfire 2.4, Curtus Walker's turbo 2nd gen, Russ Weisgarber's turbo 2.2, the Edlebrock 4-door Z24 and the yellow GM Turbo Sport concept.

My 99 2200 cav makes over 220hp at the flywheel. This is done with all bolt-ons and nothing touched internally. But, you can check my reg for all my bolt-ons and you'll believe me.

yea when you bolt on a turbo you bastard lol

LMAO @ PJ

But RedCavi99, your "bolt ons" are only good for about 15-20 at the wheels MAX and that's pushing it! Another guy in the newbies forum just ran his turbo 2200 on the dyno and got 191 @ the wheels with no other mods! So thats where I got my guesstimate number from for your "bolt ons" although no car is alike!

i used to like SCC. then i got tired of the avg. of 2 j-bodies a year, compared to god knows how many civics, supras, rx-7's, 240's, DSM's....yeah that sucks.

it's possible to build this super 2.2 it is not possible this fella has been in sport compact car SEVERAL times. still though, rather have a V6.

Yea i believe its totally do-able to build a 200+ horse 2.2 all motor! One thing is that all the aftermarket parts for that engine isn't out or sold by anyone yet so no one is actually able to do it without some nice custom parts. And I'm sure if soeone put that much dedication into a car they would have a dyno run, a video, or a picture of it! I mean really haha!

Actually I had it dynoed untuned at 185hp and 210tq at the wheels. Since tune I put 205hp and 227tq and that was just from leaning out the a/f so about 11.9-12.2. This is also done with a 2 1/4 exhaust. But my car is done cause it goes up for sale soon. Got my 98 z28 to play with now.

Good luck getting 200 to the wheels without nitrous or f/i it hasnt been done yet and I dont think it will unless someone is willing to spend some un-godly amount of money and time. But why bother it'd be cheaper to swap engines.

Gee, oddly that not very far from Karo.
Karo is at the track pretty much all the time.

Would going to a local track be too much of a waste of time for you?
Why would you email a link?
Wouldn't it make sense to let all these potential customers know who you are publicly?
Which issues of SCC are you in? Please give months and years.
Why if "I have a automotive degree and own my own tuner shop here in Southern California" is your screenname Danzig?
