rob from what i have read the PCM doesn't affect this,
whoever if can can elobarate more on this part of it because i cueently have an 04 impala SS supercharged Program on my car and running an 03 sunfire BCM without ABS still have to track down an airbag modual to work with it. is there something that can be changed to allow any airbag modual to work or do i have to have matching service ID numbers

I will have to dig a bit.
Though what I can tell ya for 100%, if the Vin in the Pcm didnt match the BCM and SDM then I got an AirBag light.

Once I put my original Cavy VIN in the 3400 Pcm, my airbag light went out and no more DTC.

I just want to make sure I am on the same page. So your airbag light works properly at this point, as in it lights up upon ignition properly then goes out as it is supposed to? The reason I ask is here in NOVA I will not pass inspection unless the light is perfect, and that has been my one major problem...

Airbag does bulb test, then goes out and there are NO codes.
My airbag system functions and works 100%

To do this, I had to put my original Cavalier VIN in my 3400 Pcm.

Can not do this with Hpt unfortunately.

For this I used DHP

Little bit back from the dead; But were you unable to use HP tuners because you did not have the professional version (no ability to flash VIN block) or because the feature is unsupported for our cars?
