That is to say, there has been no obvious, determining factor to date. People have suggested bodyflex - loosening the bolts & tightening up your chassis has shown no improvement. Dashes have cracked in every locale, from desert to temperate to very cold - there's no difference.
I don't believe there's any one solution. Do what you can to prolong the inevitable, but eventually it's going to crack.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
The quote feature has some major glitches yet no one ever seems to complain about it...

Glitches? Or you cut out some tag when you deleted the other quote box?

my 98 z with 112k miles is not cracked, but the wifes 02 base with 130k miles is cracked like a mofo, guess thats the difference in mine being tan and hers graphite...must be the color LOL
The ol' i-D-10-tango. Lmao. You've gotta be military....
Easy way to hide the crack. Buy some vinyl similar to your color and use exacto knife to cut a little bit bigger than the size of the dash trim then tuck and glue everything downplus the top of the dash will cover the trim of the vynyl facing you
Modding my j since I found the org
