2004 Chevrolet Cavalier

About This Vehicle:

My wife and I have had this car since it was only a few weeks old and had just 12 miles on it. It now has just over 66k miles on it as of September 2013. My car has been in a front end collision, but is still street legal. It only had damage to the front passenger headlight, passenger fender, hood and front bumper. However, the airbags did blow. The headlight was replaced, so was the wiring harness, as it was cut by the impact. The radiator mounts were damaged, but replaced. Also, the driver side fender was damaged later exiting a parking lot. - This should be remedied whenever I get around to doing my Sunfire front end swap. Fun fact: I proposed to my wife of nearly ten years in this car.

MODIFICATIONS

Engine:
  • Recently installed an intake pieced together from an old RKSport intake and some 2.75 inch pipe and couplers (had to cut/modify the throttle cable bracket.)
  • Beryllium-Copper coil packs
  • Bosch iR +4 plugs
  • had to replace broken ICM. Crapped out while revving too high going down hill. (It sounded like a freaking lawn mower afterward. It also had like no power. Thank goodness for AutoZone.)
  • I recently had to replace the catalytic convertor due to the crapped out ICM. It allowed my engine to dump half of it's fuel unburned out the exhaust thereby destroying the old cat.
Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:
  • MB Drifter 16" black rims
  • Pirelli P6 Tires
  • Front & rear strut bars
  • slotted drilled rotors and ceramic pads in the front
