Some early 1995 model J-body cars were missing a weld on the lower A-arm assembly, causing it to break and the driver to lose control of their car. Luckily, GM found the problem early, and dealers were instructed where to properly spot-weld to fix the problem. To give you an idea of how few J-bodies were affected by this, my car was one of the first 3000 3rd Generation J-body cars and it had already been fixed before my car even got to the dealership. However, if you have a '95, you should check with your local dealer to make sure that the fix has been made (or wasn't necessary).
