This car has been in the family since 1964. My dad bought it from [was] Stackhouse Oldsmobile in Youngstown,OH. I have put it in several car shows under survivor class. The car has won a couple of trophies and came in 2nd several times. Ever gone back in time? With this car you almost can. Other than tires,battery,shocks, this car is just like it was in '62. It is on the 3rd set of tires [bias-ply] and they were put on in 1974. The factory spare tire is still in the trunk. GM made 12,244 Dynamic 88 convertibles in '62 .I know its a rare car because it was special ordered with a radio,power top,power windows,4-way power seat,olds ultra-high compression engine [ethel fuel only, remember that?] and deluxe starfire wheel covers. Now, to a lot of you that's not very much, but in 1962 some cars in warmer areas of the USA didn't even have heaters! As anyone can tell you [like me] that remembers these cars as a daily driver knows WHY you become a GM fanatic and always will be.
