1988 Chevrolet Cavalier

About This Vehicle:

Had been thinking about buying a wagon for a little while. Ran across it on Craigslist for a really good price. I knew the engine (2.0L) was bad, but I had a 1994 RS convertible I really didn't need anymore. Decided to buy the wagon and use everything it needed from the RS. Wasn't in a hurry and it wound up sitting in the garage for nearly 2 years. When I decided to move back to NC, I knew I had to get to work on it and get it driveable. After stripping the RS down to the shell, I focused on the Wagon. I began by stripping it completely down too. Then I cleaned everything, painted everything, replaced any parts it needed, etc. Had it ready to go in a couple months or so. It turned out to be a really good car that drives very nicely. It is currently my daily driver.
