**Feb. 1, 2005 Finally got the car payed off with my income taxes **Feb. 9, 2005 Ordered Cat, Cat-Back, Header, Plug Wires, Upper Lower Mounts from Gravana Tuning **Feb 11, 2005 Got tracking number on header and cat-back; Mounts and Plug wires should ship today; cat is on back order and should ship Monday; Header and Cat-back should arrive on the 16th **Feb 21, 2005 Got the mounts and wires installed. Also changed the oil and valve cover gasket. The vibs from the moounts are pretty bad and i dont really feel any gains... If I wasnt going to install a header i would take them back out. Still waiting on the cat so i can do the exhaust... **Feb 22, 2005 Magnaflow CAT that was on back order shipped today. Havent got the tracking number yet but should shortly. **Mar 05, 2005 Ok finally got everything installed Cat-back, Cat, Header, Upper and Lower Mounts, and Accel Plug wires. At low RPM it sounds nice and deep(you can here it inside the house from outside while its in park). At high RPM's it sounds very raspy ill put a resonator in later... I think I gained maybe 15-20HP at high rev after doing the exhast, mounts and wires. Going to get the Pulley set from Cav Connection in a month or so... More updates comming. **Apr 5, 2005 Ordered new valve cover from GmPartsDirect.com. It was a Special Order Part 7-10 days before it ships out. Shipped from them on the 15th. I got it the 20th. I have to polish it up before i install it. **Apr 20, 2005 Ordered Power Pulley set from Cavalier Connection($109.90 after shipping). It comes with the Crank pulley and the Alt pulley, the alt pulley is polished aluminum... They look good and they are supposed to net est 7hp to the wheels. **Apr 23, 2005 Polished up the valve cover yesterday(not to mirror finish only to satin) and clearcoated it. Got it installed today also changed out the Water Pump while i was there(> 100k miles :-| ); also polished up the alternator. Still havent heard anything from Cavalier Connection about the pulleys, they are not responding to e-mails. ** Apr 26, 2005 Ok CC got back to me yesterday :-) and ive got the tracking number for the pulleys. They havent shipped yet but UPS has shipping info. ** May 2, 2005 The pulleys came in friday i got them put in saturday(30th). It for sure revs faster, better acceleration and overall drivability. The lights do dim at idle but i havent had any other problems. Ordered MSD Blaster Coils from Turbotechracing.com which should ship out tommorrow. ** May 10, 2005 There were some issues getting a tracking number so I got the Coils before i got a tacking number. They arrived on the 6th I got them installed on the 9th. Definitly a good mod for the money. Since a installed the mounts the dash would rattle "out of control" at idle expecialy with the AC on. After installing these the idle is MUCH smoother. I did also notice a small gain in mid-range tq, not much at all though.
